By using Sherlock AI Face Search you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Sherlock returns images that resemble a face you upload, along with the pages that host them, ranked by similarity. A match is a similarity signal, not proof of identity. You are responsible for independently confirming anything you act on.

Acceptable use

The following are prohibited and will result in account termination:

• Searching photos of minors.
• Stalking, harassing, intimidating, or attempting to locate a person to harm them.
• Using results for employment, housing, credit, or insurance decisions about any person.
• Law-enforcement or government use without a separate written agreement with us.
• Automated or bulk searching of faces that are not your own or those you represent.

Enforcement

We log search volume per account. Accounts running high-volume searches across many distinct faces are flagged for manual review, because that pattern indicates scraping or stalking rather than self-audit. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Credits

Searches consume credits. Credits from one-off packs do not expire. Subscription credits refresh each billing period and do not roll over. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where a search failed and your credit was already returned automatically.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. Coverage of the index is limited to what is publicly posted, and a search returning nothing does not mean a person has no online presence.

Removal

Anyone may request exclusion of a face at /remove without an account. Requests are honored within 30 days.
